Jordan River Trail Master Plan
_
Landmark Design worked with Salt Lake County to prepare an award-winning master plan for
nearly 50 miles of trail along the Jordan River Corridor. The scope of work included a detailed documentation
of existing conditions and analysis along the corridor, coordination with an
advisory committee made up of multiple stakeholders including government
agencies, a public involvement plan that was both inclusive and informative,
and delivery of a final master plan that addresses a multi-use trail along the
length of the river, as well as a river trail navigable by small, non-motorized
watercraft.
Landmark Design assembled all available data and background information, contacted and coordinated with all of the communities adjacent to the corridor, completed a detailed analysis of existing conditions, developed a trails plan for a broad variety of trail users, and provided guidelines for implementing the trail system. |
