Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District Demonstration Gardens
Landmark Design completed design and construction documents for a 2.5-acre water conserving demonstration garden located at District Administration Headquarters in West Jordan, Utah. Design and construction documents for the first phase of the Demonstration Garden and renovation of the existing landscape were completed in September 2000. Phase Two was completed in Autumn 2002. It focused on the broader use of water conserving plants, materials and techniques, the addition of a weather station tied to the irrigation control system, and completion of a public restroom.
Landmark Design provided a complete planning and design service, including hardscape paving systems and ornamental structures, signage design, landscape architecture and irrigation design, and input into the public information systems for the gardens.
