Lehi City Parks Master Plan Update
The Lehi City Parks Master Plan Update has been adopted as of April 28, 2015! Lehi City hired Landmark Design to revise the Parks Master Plan. This Plan was intended to update the existing parks element of the General Plan, incorporating new community goals and objectives, formulating implementation strategies. The main purpose was to evaluate overall service area needs and create a long term plan for future parks development.
The Scope of Work focused on the following:
As part of the the Parks Master Plan process, we received a large amount of community input on what was being proposed (please see various document links located on the right). There was a Draft Open House Meeting on March 5, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Lehi Senior Center where over a hundred residents learned about the development of the Plan, explored the City’s opportunities and challenges, and provided their input and ideas.
An initial public meeting was held on November 20th to get public input on issues and ideas for the updated plan. Just over 100 people signed in and a large number and range of comments were provided from the residents regarding city parks.
The notes provided on this page are from the facilitated meeting, meeting comment forms, the map comments and comments provided on the project webpage. All of these combined comments have be categorized to help provide an overview of the resulting key issues, ideas and questions. The links to the preliminary/rough draft maps are also available (please see links on the lower right side of this page).
