Fort Vancouver National Historic Site Reserve Visitor Center
Landmark Design was part of an interdisciplinary team that developed design documents for modifications to the Reserve Visitor Center at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. During the design process, the project was converted from a Design-Bid-Build project to a Design-Build project. Landmark Design provided landscape master planning, schematic design, and enhanced design development and design guidelines for transition to a Design-Build project. Project meets Mission 66 design requirements for landscape, includes temporary irrigation system, renovates and relocates history Japanese history monument, and creates walkways and gardens that enhance the visitor experience. The project is designed to LEED Gold.
