The first decade of my life was in rural Australia, my family then moved to the metropolis of Miami.  This gave me a broad appreciation of both environments and also the desire to find a balance between the two as an adult.  I came to work in Southern Utah in the wilderness therapy field about 13 years ago.  I believe the outdoors/wilderness is a very powerful place.  Part of my desire to go into Landscape Architecture stemmed from the idea and possibility that I could create green/open spaces, parks etc… that would provide relaxation and inspiration to my community.  I look forward to contributing to many communities through my work here at Landmark Design.

My thesis in graduate school involved the concept of enhancing public perceptions of waterwise landscapes with the hope of aiding in the growth of more water conscious behavior here in Utah.  This was obtained with Photoshop manipulations showing how beautiful and lush these landscapes can be.  I have worked for firms in Sydney and Hobart, Australia and here in SLC. One of the things I like the most about the field of Landscape Architecture is the diversity of scale and type of projects.

Outside of work I enjoy doing stained glass, snow & split-boarding, swimming and hiking.  I also try to bike to work often.
