Rachel grew up in the heart of Salt Lake City. While growing up, her parents instilled in her an appreciation for cultural diversity and a love for the environment. Through her involvement in Girl Scouting she met a landscape architect and knew what she wanted to be. She had been a landscaper for a couple of summers prior to that, but she knew that her real passion was to design and plan. After finishing her degree, she knew that she wanted to return to Salt Lake to work and give back to her community.

She believes that each day is a continual learning process, and no matter how far along one gets, there is always something to learn. Rachel also enjoys the wide variety of projects that she gets to work on at Landmark. She has even been able to learn new programs to further the development of the offices work. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her husband, travel, hike, take pictures, go to concerts, and just enjoy every minute of life.
