Landmark Design Designed a day care play area for ARUP Laboratories. Taking advantage of the small and enclosed courtyard setting in Reasearch Park in the Wasatch foothills of Salt Lake City, Utah, the play area provides distinct play areas for children according to age and cognitive abilities.

The design utilizes a range of hard and soft areas, incorporating a variety of play equipment designed to encourage learning through play. The project was designed and constructed over a 6-month period in 2007, and accommodates up to 100 children during staggered hours of use.
