Landmark Design prepared a master plan for the Davis County portion of the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. The trail encompasses 25 miles of unincorporated county land, portions of North Salt Lake, Bountiful, Centerville, Farmington, Fruit Heights, Kaysville, Layton, South Weber, and National Forest Service holdings.

The work included documentation of existing conditions such as current regional settings, general land use, ownership and other physical conditions. Needs and requirements were addressed for a full range of trail components, including trail and trailhead types, signage and information, segment connections, control and policies, and user desires and conflicts. Long term and short term issues and concepts were documented, leading to preferred alternatives, recommendations, design guidelines and a preliminary opinion of probable cost.
