Landmark Design prepared a detailed site plan for the historic core of Draper. Based on an extensive review of various concepts and assumptions, the plan illustrates the possibilities of creating a contemporary town center that respects traditional values, promotes 'pedestrian friendly' ideals, and preserves a unique 'sense of place'
In addition to providing a detailed development plan for guiding growth in the area, the plan also includes a variety of implementation tools to assure that the town center grows and develops as envisioned. These address a range of urban design and operational issues essential to preserving the 'small town' feel, including the location and operation of shared parking facilities, the role of and type of streetscape enhancements, preservation of open space, and the need for multi-purpose trails, pathways and linkages.
