Landmark Design, in conjunction with Box Elder County, Bear River Associations of Governments, and the Utah Quality Growth Commission, conducted planning services for this historic agricultural roadway corridor. Specifically, Landmark Design conducted a Visual Preference Survey that was utilized as part of the "Fruitway Futures Workshop", which was coordinated and organized by Landmark Design.
The intent of the study was to identify desired uses and activities for this
unique portion of Utah, and to understand what gives it a 'sense of place'.
The results of the survey were used to determine visual preferences for potential
uses and activities in the corridor.
Landmark Design also organized and conducted an informational workshop on open space preservation, and put together a technical memorandum outlining methods and processes for open space preservation, including "best practice" examples from around the country.
