Landmark
Design is currently working with a multidisciplinary team developing design
and construction documents for a research and museum collection facility in
Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado. The project site an old overgrazed
piece of property south of Highway 160, near the entrance road to Mesa Verde
National Park. The facility will house the National Park's Historical
Collection, and will feature a new Visitor Center to be completed in a future
phase.
The site will be revegetated with primarily native, drought-tolerant, and
regionally appropriate species that blend with the beautiful natural surroundings.
The site layout will complement the respectful, contemplative nature
of the facility.
