Landmark Design provided the initial concept for remodeling of the Gallivan Plaza. The concept called for expansion of the stage and seating area, glass story panels depicting gametime events, and the Hoberman arch set within a fountain.

At Rice-Eccles Stadium, Landmark Design worked to conceptualize an appropriate setting for the Olympic Cauldron, a fountain, plaza, and visitor's center. The concept involved remodeling the entire plaza on the South side of the stadium. The cauldron is set close to 500 South, surrounded by a large fountain, and will be located on axis with the stadium resembling its location during the games. A large Plaza surrounding the cauldron and fountain accommodates crowds for large events. The Visitor's Center houses a small theater, gallery, retail space, and the ticket office.

The Olympic Legacy Plaza at Rice-Eccles Stadium was completed in Fall of 2003.

Landmark Design worked with the Salt Lake Olympic Committee (SLOC) to develop various concepts for a legacy project for the Salt Lake City 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Landmark Design developed a conceptual design and model for a large down town amphitheater. The amphitheater was set within a park on a 10 acre city block, and employed various forms and symbols from the Winter Games.

When SLOC and Salt Lake City selected Pioneer Park for the location of an amphitheater, Landmark Design presented various concepts to SLOC and Salt Lake City's Historic Landmarks Committee. Landmark Design provided illustrations and models detailing the existing condition of Pioneer Park, and how the amphitheater would fit within the park. SLOC and the Historic Landmarks Committee eventually determined that an alternative site was needed.

Directed by SLOC, Landmark Design explored concepts for various sites throughout the city including the South Plaza at the University of Utah Rice-Eccles Stadium, and the Gallivan Plaza downtown.
