Landmark Design worked with South Ogden City to develop a Quality of Life element to the General Plan. The plan focused on pedestrian/vehicular safety; beautification of streets, gateways, and neighborhoods; and parks, recreation, open spaces, and trails - all of which enhance the quality of life of city residents and the image of the community. Landmark Design conducted public meetings to identify areas of concern, developed a community-wide survey instrument, which was mailed to every household in the community, and prepared recommendations, costs, funding sources, and implementation strategies for the plan.
Landmark Design was specifically responsible for parks, recreation, open spaces, and trails and the beautification aspects of the plan. Fehr & Peers Associates, as a sub-consultant to Landmark Design, prepared the transportation and pedestrian safety aspects of the plan.
