Landmark Design is currently working on a small area master plan for the Westminster Neighborhood. The plan aims to address factors related to quality of life and stability of the neighborhood. It will specifically address design characteristics, preservation of housing stock, mitigation of traffic impacts, and providing mobility options.

The Plan will identify specific physical public improvements and policy strategies to assist in stabilizing the neighborhood, housing conditions and character. This will include recommendations for design guidelines and a mechanism for reviewing future development. The Plan will also identify specific actions to improve transportation and circulation, particularly in the vicinity of the Sugar House Business District and Westminster College.

A preliminary draft plan has been completed, and is currently in the adoption process.
