City of Twin Falls, Idaho, Comprehensive General Plan Update
|
Landmark Design, in conjunction with a team of
engineers and economists, provided technical and professional services to
complete the City of Twin Falls
Comprehensive General Plan Update. As a rapidly growing area, the City of Twin Falls is facing the
pressures of development and limited water resources that dramatically impact
future growth.
The plan focuses on the ability of the City to provide water and establishes a water service boundary that sets limits on land use and development until in-fill parcels are developed and options for new water supplies are created. The General Plan Update addresses all of the common elements of a plan, going beyond the requirements of Idaho State Code. These include housing; transportation; population and growth, economic development; land use; natural resources and hazardous areas; public services and utilities; recreation, parks, trails and open space; cultural and historic resources; and community design; within the context with current resource limitations. |
