Amy CervantesLandscape Designer + Planner | LEED Green Associate
Amy joined Landmark Design in August of 2024. Since joining, she has contributed where needed with a focus on high quality and accuracy. She aims to create environmentally sustainable landscapes for the public that are practical and enjoyable to use.
Before joining Landmark, Amy worked at a landscape architecture firm in Salt Lake City for three years. While there, she worked from conceptual through construction document phases. Projects included: small-scale public parks and greenway designs and a 6-acre public waterwise demonstration garden for a new development in the West Jordan foothills with focus on a plant palette inspired by native plants, updating plant lists in the Daybreak Waterwise Planting booklet governing all new home and park strip plantings, planting redesign for the Daybreak Watercourse phases I and II to be more drought-tolerant, private institutional landscape design, and residential landscape design. She also interned for a summer at Zion Mountain Ranch in 2020. Zion Mountain Ranch borders Zion National Park, requiring context-sensitive design. During her internship, she planned housing and amenities including landscape design for a new water treatment plant with bioremediation elements. |
