Landscape Architect/Project Manager (5-12 years) Landmark Design is a group of leaders, creative thinkers, and advocates for the sustainable and equitable transformation of our built environment. We seek for a passionate, self-motivated, and well-rounded candidate with the right combination of personal, professional, technical, and communication skills to join our team. The successful candidate will collaborate with our experienced staff and manage design projects from sketch to construction in the creation of vibrant parks, plazas, streetscapes, and more. They will also engage with the public regularly through community workshops, online platforms, and other events. The ideal candidate will be committed to the practice of landscape architecture but also willing to explore the edges of the profession. Skills Required We are seeking candidates who can actively contribute to our collaborative design process, and proactively take advantage of opportunities to develop new skills. Candidates must demonstrate strong design and communication skills, with a solid understanding of landscape architecture - from planning and conceptual design through construction document preparation. Interest and skills in community planning and urban design are a definite benefit. Skills in the following are essential:
Five or more years professional experience in landscape architecture and design
A professional degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain strong client relationships
Proficiency in AutoCAD and construction documentation, including planting and irrigation design (LandFX)
Proficiency in graphic production using Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, and other software
Experience overseeing design implementation through construction administration
Experience with public presentations and community workshops
Excellent research, writing and organizational skills
Professional licensure or eligibilty for licensure is preferred
Interest in community planning and urban design is a bonus, including GIS skills and/or AICP certification
