Josh QuigleyLandscape Designer + Planner
Prior to Joining Landmark, Josh spent five years working at a variety of private firms, public institutions, and volunteer organizations committed to improving the Urban Design, Environmental Planning, Landscape Architecture, and Recreation Access of communities along the Wasatch Front and Intermountain West.
Through his previous work, he has had the opportunity to work on projects involving urban design/community planning, recreation and open space planning, active/public transportation, public outreach and engagement, habitat restoration, water management, and ecological/ permaculture design. Project examples include the Seven Mile Ranch Master Plan and Water Management Plan, winning an ASLA merit award in Analysis and Planning. Additional completed or under construction projects include the new Golden Spike Monument, the Carcione and Canepa Ranch Recreation Access Plan, the Wilder Landscape Master Plan/Demonstration Gardens, and the Downtown Daybreak Streetscapes and Stormwater Infrastructure. Current projects at Landmark include the Salt Lake County Flip the Strip Phase I projects, Sycamore Glen Detention Area and Open Space in Riverton, the Kane Springs Rest Area, Moab Regional Building, and Moab Liquor Store. Josh Quigley attended Utah State University for his Bachelors of Landscape Architecture, focusing on sustainable systems, permaculture, and horticulture. While at USU, Josh served as an officer for the Student ASLA and worked for the Utah Permaculture Initiative, managing the permaculture research gardens while planning a variety of public outreach and educational events. Additional involvement included positions with AmeriCorps, low-income housing construction with Community Rebuilds, rangeland ecology research with the Quinney College of Natural Research, and leading educational workshops with the Stokes Nature Center, Student Organization for Society/ Natural Resources, and the Bridgeland Audubon Society. |
