Mark Vlasic is a designer and community planner with over 40-years of local, regional and international experience. Mark joined Salt Lake City-based Landmark Design in 1997 after spending more than a decade working in Sweden and Botswana as landscape architect and urban designer. Mark’s career has merged interests in landscape architecture, urban design, community planning and public engagement, with a focus on helping communities develop clear visions for meeting growth and development needs.
Mark has been a long-standing member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) , a professionally licensed landscape architect (PLA) in Utah and several other western states, certified planner (AICP), and a member of the Utah Professional Licensing Board for Landscape Architects. Mark has also served as President and Trustee for the Utah Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. He assumed ownership of Landmark Design in 2010, transferred it to Sam Taylor in 2023, and is currently assisting the firm as a design and planning advisor. |
