Landmark Design led a multi-disciplinary team of architects, engineers, interpretive writer, and graphic designer in the development of design and construction documents for Shay Park, a 10-acre community park located at the north end of Saratoga Springs. The park features an abandoned historic elevated railroad grade, which was the focal point of the design. In earlier years, the railroad accommodated Railroad Engines which provided transport for the Tintic mining district and local agriculture. The name Shay Park is based on the Shay engines that were often used in the mountain mine districts.
